Origin & Brewing

Where is the coffee grown?

Our coffee is grown in the highlands of Caldas, Colombia, a region shaped by volcanic soils, mountain climates, abundant rainfall, and generations of coffee-growing tradition.

At these elevations, coffee cherries develop slowly, allowing the beans to build greater complexity, natural sweetness, and a beautifully balanced cup. Every harvest reflects the land, the people who cultivate it, and the unique character of its Colombian origin.

Discover the journey behind our Colombian Arabica — from the mountains of Caldas to your cup — and learn how to bring out its distinctive character at home.

How does our coffee reach you?

Freshness begins long before the coffee is roasted.

At Tierra Buena Coffee, we maintain close oversight of every lot throughout its journey. Our traceability process begins before harvest, following the coffee from the farms and producers through selection, processing, roasting, and final delivery.

We coordinate frequent air shipments from Colombia, helping reduce transit times and preserve the freshness and distinctive qualities of each lot.

By carefully managing our logistics and maintaining traceability throughout the supply chain, we can connect our customers more closely to the coffee’s origin while ensuring that every bag arrives with the quality, freshness, and authenticity we expect from Tierra Buena.

From before the harvest to your destination, we know the journey behind your coffee.

What is the best way to brew?

Our Colombian Arabica is crafted to deliver a balanced and expressive cup, with its natural sweetness, caramel notes, bright citrus acidity, and smooth finish.

For a clean and aromatic cup, we recommend pour-over or drip brewing, using freshly filtered water and a medium grind. These methods allow the coffee’s natural character to open gradually and highlight the balance between sweetness, acidity, aroma, and body.

For the best experience, grind your coffee just before brewing and take the time to enjoy it fresh.

Is it organic?

While we don't currently carry an organic certification, our farming practices are focused on sustainability and the health of the land. We prioritize the quality of the harvest over labels.
